Murray, UT (May 25, 2022) – Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol and first responders were dispatched to the scene of a collision involving five vehicles that caused the closure of two lanes of Interstate 215 on Wednesday, May 25th.
The accident took place at about 4:35 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate near the State Street exit in Murray.
Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, they provided aid to some of the victims at the scene and transferred at least one patient by ambulance to an area hospital for further medical care.
The severity of any injuries has not been disclosed.
This accident is under active police review.
