Roy, UT (March 29, 2022) – A woman died after being involved in a head-on accident in Roy on Tuesday, March 29th.
Police responded to the scene at about 8:55 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered that a vehicle heading southbound on 1900 West had veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound vehicle that was waiting in the turn lane to make a lefthand turn onto 5200 South.
Officers located one of the drivers, a woman, unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male driver was taken to an area hospital in non-critical condition.
The Roy City Police Department is working with the Utah Highway Patrol to reconstruct the incident.
