Orem, UT (July 26, 2022) – A man riding his bicycle died on Monday, July 25th after he was hit by a car in Orem.
The incident took place at about 5:15 p.m. in the 900th block of West University Parkway.
According to eyewitnesses, the cyclist, identified only as a 28-year-old male, fell off his bicycle. He was then struck by a vehicle traveling to his left.
The victim was transported by EMS to Utah Valley Hospital where he passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
The driver of the striking vehicle is cooperating with the police.
The crash is under investigation.
