St. George, UT (February 04, 2022) – A portion of Interstate 15 was shut down after a tractor-trailer overturned on Thursday, February 3rd near St. George.
The accident took place at about 9:30 p.m. when a Washington County deputy stopped a vehicle heading northbound near the Arizona state line when a sedan in the lefthand lane attempted to cut across to the right shoulder and sideswiped a tractor-trailer towing two trailers in the righthand lane.
The force of the impact caused the truck to roll onto its side and block all northbound lanes on the interstate.
The truck operator was hospitalized with non-critical injuries.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Truck Accidents in Utah
Following an accident involving a tractor-trailer, most victims face a long road to recovery. This can include rigorous physical therapy and ongoing medical treatments. This means that your medical bills are constantly increasing along with associated losses such as lost income due to being unable to work.
Unfortunately, a lot of victims panic and agree to the first settlement they are offered without considering the trajectory of their future expenses and without knowing the full extent of their injuries. This leaves them to pay for everything else out of pocket.
Obtaining legal representation from an experienced Utah tractor-trailer accident attorney who understands how to determine what expenses you may face in the future will give you your best chance at receiving full and fair financial compensation.
