Summit Co, UT (September 12, 2021) – Two people sustained injuries when a vehicle rolled over on Interstate 80 in Summit County.
The accident took place at about 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12th near Echo Canyon, just outside of Coalville.
An official with the Utah Highway Patrol reported that two people were inside the westbound Honda Accord when it rolled.
Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle flipped about three times before coming to an uncontrolled stop in the median.
A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman sustained injuries classified as serious but non-life-threatening. One was taken to a local hospital by ambulance while the other was transported by AirMed medical helicopter.
Crews from the Park City Fire District, North Summit Fire District also responded to the scene.
This accident is under investigation.
