Salt Lake Co, UT (September 11, 2021) – A man was killed on Saturday, September 11th in a car accident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 215 West in the area of 1700 South.
Reports show that at about 12:30 a.m. the driver of a Ford pick-up truck lost control, struck the concrete barrier, and skidded a little further before coming to a stop.
Once the truck came to a stop, the driver exited his vehicle. As he attempted to cross the street, he was struck by a white van.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the white van was unharmed during the incident.
The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
