Holladay, UT (September 05, 2021) – A man in his 50s sustained critical injuries on Sunday, September 5th when the moped he was riding was struck by a Subaru at an intersection in Salt Lake County.
An official from the Unified Police Department said that, at about 9:30 a.m., the moped rider was traveling westbound on Murray Holladay Road when he collided with a Subaru traveling northbound on Highland Drive.
Eyewitnesses told investigators that the Subaru ran a red light which caused the moped to crash into its side.
This accident is under investigation.
