American Fork, UT (November 07, 2021) – American Fork Police reported that a 91-year-old woman died following a head-on crash in American Fork on Saturday, November 6th in the 200th block of East State Street at about 7:00 p.m.
Three other victims were left in serious to critical condition.
The accident occurred when a vehicle heading eastbound along a bend in the road lost control and swerved into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision with another car.
Paramedics took one person from one vehicle and three people from another vehicle to a nearby hospital in serious to critical condition. The conditions of the other victims are not known at this time.
The eastbound vehicle was driven by a 23-year-old-man who was unharmed during the accident.
The westbound vehicle had three women inside: the 91-year-old woman who died, a 48-year-old, and a 66-year-old.
