Layton, UT (March 3, 2021) – A 54-year-old man was pronounced deceased after a crash that occurred Tuesday, March 2.
Authorities say that the wreck happened just before 2:00 p.m. At that time, a white truck traveling westbound on Highway 193 turning onto 725 westbound collided with an SUV driving eastbound on Highway 193.
A medical helicopter was called to transport the driver of the SUV. The victim, identified only as a 54-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the truck, a 20-year-old man, was transported to the hospital via ambulance. His current condition is unknown.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
