Magna, UT (June 06, 2021) – Four people sustained injuries when a Utah Transit Authority bus wrecked on Salt Lake County’s west side on Sunday, June 6th.
The accident occurred with passengers on board at about 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of 3500 South and 7300 West. The cause of the accident is unknown but the bus ultimately drove onto the shoulder where it crashed into a chain-link fence and then a tree.
According to a spokesperson, the injured victims include the bus driver and two passengers. It is unclear how the fourth victim was involved.
It was not immediately clear if the crash involved any other vehicles.
