Logan, UT (June 26, 2021) – One person was killed when a single-engine plane crashed into a house in North Logan on Saturday, June 26th.
Reports from the Federal Aviation Administration show that at about 8:30 p.m., the single-engine SeaRey LSX plane crashed into a home in the 2100 block of Meadow Lark Lane.
The sole occupant of the plane was pronounced dead on the scene.
The home was unoccupied when the accident occurred.
Additional details about what may have caused the crash were not available as of Saturday night.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
Even though, statistically speaking, flying is the least dangerous method of transportation, there are still dangers involved, notably when faulty equipment could be to blame. This is one of the leading reasons for the heavy regulation of the aviation production trade.
Faulty equipment is not something anyone wants to come across while they are several thousand feet in the air. In the wake of any type of aviation accident, a thorough investigation has to be carried out in order to determine exactly what went wrong and if the crash might have been avoided.
