Emery, UT (June 29, 2021) – A woman died when her car and a Utah Department of Transportation vehicle crashed head-on into one another in Emery County on Tuesday, June 29th.
The accident took place at about 10:00 a.m. on state Route 10 just outside of the town of Emery.
The 43-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released, was heading southbound in a 2000 Honda Odyssey when it collided head-on with the UDOT dump truck.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was attempting to pass another car when the crash occurred.
The UDOT employee was unharmed during the incident.
