Ticaboo, UT (July 02, 2021) – Officials have identified the woman who was killed on Wednesday, June 30th in a crash just outside of Ticaboo in Garfield County as 20-year-old Addison C. Smith, a resident of Edwards, CO.
The crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. when a 2003 Toyota Sequoia was traveling westbound on State Route 276 near Ticaboo when the vehicle veered off the lefthand side of the roadway, overcorrected as it re-entered traffic, and overturned coming to a stop on its roof.
Smith, a passenger in the Toyota, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Two other occupants were med flighted in critical condition, and two more were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
