Tooele Co, UT (August 01, 2021) – One person was killed in a rollover accident in Tooele County on the evening of Saturday, July 31st.
Deputies from the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 25-year-old was driving a white Jeep Cherokee on Mormon Trail near mile marker 12 when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, he lost control of his vehicle and it overturned.
A passenger in the Jeep, a 29-year-old male, died during the impact. A 22-year-old female who was also riding in the car was med flighted to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. Both had been completely thrown from the vehicle.
The driver sustained non-critical injuries during the accident.
