Midvale, UT (August 27, 2021) – A history teacher from the Canyons School District was killed on Wednesday, August 25th in a motorcycle accident in Midvale.
The victim, identified as 24-year-old Jonah Glenn, died when an alleged drunk driver pulled out in front of him while he was riding his motorcycle. The accident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on 300 West near 900 South.
26-year-old Wilhelm Robert Heider had a blood-alcohol level of 0.129%. This is about two and a half times the legal limit. Heider was arrested on a charge of automobile homicide.
Paramedics transported Glenn to a nearby hospital but he died due to the severity of his injuries.
