The state of Utah recently established laws stipulating that minors must pass an ATV safety class and always be supervised by an adult. Many parents, however, frequently break the rules designed to promote the safe use of ATVs. Countless riders have sustained critical injuries or even been killed when their ATV rolled over on them. The most commonly-occurring injuries are spinal cord damage and amputations.
