Holladay, UT (December 14, 2020) – Two people were killed during a car crash on Friday, December 11th.
As reported by the Unified Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of Highland Drive and 4500 South.
The deceased victims have since been identified as Dallas Bench, 18, a resident of Midvale, and 27-year-old Felisha Sherie Hart, a resident of Millcreek.
Reports indicate that police attempted to pull over a vehicle that instead took off against a red light and crashed into the side of another vehicle. The fleeing car rolled over onto its roof, and the vehicle that was struck flipped and landed on its side.
The fleeing vehicle contained five passengers, two of whom, Bench and Hart, died during the collision. The remaining three passengers were all transported to local hospitals, all in critical condition.
The driver of the other car, a woman whose identity has not yet been released, was also transported to a nearby trauma center in critical condition.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
